KingTree Lodge
Each suite has ensuite, sitting area, TV, fridge, tea and coffee facilities, fruit, biscuits, china and fine glassware. The lodge was designed for use by four or less couples as a retreat-getaway and the downstairs guest rooms have French doors leading to an outdoor terraced cellar door luncheon seating area.
Guests can also taste wines in Kingtree's Cellar Tasting Room. Day trips from the lodge are numerous and varied with Bunbury Beach only 35 km away, Wellington Dam 11 km, Donnybrook 28 km and Collie 32 km. |

Location KingTree Lodge is a country retreat only two and a half hours drive from Perth, situated at the top of the Ferguson Valley in the wonderful high country. Wellington Dam is only 11km to the North East and offers the added attractions of rowing, sailing and swimming at Potter's Gorge. This elegant two storey modern federation lodge has magnificent views of the Ferguson River Valley and is set in the heart of the Wellington Mills jarrah forest. The forest surrounds the lodge on three sides and entices guests to walk or horse ride on the established tracks wending through the bush. The peace and quiet of this area, rich in wildlife, provides the ultimate private retreat shared with only eight in-house guests. Pre-dinner drinks and starters are served on the spacious balcony at twilight as guests watch scores of kangaroos enter the 100 acre property from the surrounding National Park. Some kangaroos, hand raised on the property, are available for guests to meet and pet.
To reach KingTree Lodge from Perth, follow the
Coastal Highway south to a point approximately 15 km north of Bunbury,
where Raymond Road is seen in your left. Take this road to the point where it
meets the inland South West Highway, just north of
Burekup. Turn right and proceed south on the inland highway, for about 5 km
to the Waterloo-Dardanup Road to the left. Follow this road for 8 km, where
it meets Ferguson Road at a T- junction. (Kingtree Lodge is signposted at
this point.) Proceed left on Ferguson Road, following the signs to KingTree
Lodge and KingTree Wines. KingTree Wines - savour award winning wines in the exciting atmosphere of the tasting cellar of KingTree Lodge.

vineyard and is surrounded on three sides by the Wellington National
Forest.
