KINGTREE WINES

KingTree Wines

Enjoy this opportunity to taste award-winning* wines with host, David Rourke, in the exciting atmosphere of the tasting cellar of Kingtree Lodge.

KingTree Wines, based in the beautiful Ferguson Valley, produces award-winning wines from plantings of Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Riesling and Merlot. KingTree has among the first of the plantings in the valley and now has top quality fruit coming from plantings made in 1990.

In the cosy atmosphere of the KingTree cellar tasting room, sample the range of KingTree Wines and take advantage of cellar door sales.

... and cellar door food

KingTree Lodge RestaurantKingTree Lodge's specialised luncheon menu is available 12 noon – 2.30 pm, Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays, offering Ploughman’s style cellar door food, best enjoyed with a bottle of KingTree Wine. Phone 9728 3050 for bookings.

Group tasting, accompanied by suitable tasting foods, can be arranged. With larger groups this can take place on the upstairs balcony of KingTree Lodge, enjoying views which are panoramic and relaxing. Bus tour parties must be pre-booked with David.

The cellar tasting area also features unique decorated glassware, art and jarrah wood pieces in the KingTree Gift Shop. This decorative local art gives the tasting room an Aladdin's Cave ambience and is sure to tempt the eye, while the wines tempt the tastebuds.

The journey up the valley will mellow the spirit and relax the mind as you drive through rolling hills and a demonstration jarrah forest, rich in local flora and fauna. The 500 year old King Jarrah Tree is an easy, shaded 800 metre walk from the KingTree cellar carpark.

The surrounding forest has many educational and delightful walks for those who want to explore. All in all, this is a "sensational" experience in the heart of a Living Windows jarrah forest, only 11 km from yet another Living Window at Wellington Dam.
